Thought that I might as well show everyone my set-up at the moment: I use an mpd32 for drums and map most effects/parameters to its many knobs and faders, a launchpad for launching clips and recording in Ableton (my main software) and a Novation Xiosynth for most of my synth sounds (pretty nifty once you’ve got the hang of it but a total Son of a Bitch until then, main reason being the menu’s are a total cunt to navigate especially due to its miniscule screen.) Interestingly enough however they [Xiosynths] have gone up $200 since I bought mine in 2007.
